Scott with EGA has been working with us to help us be more 'Green' as well as be more profitable. Scott has orchestrated connections for me. When I was presented with the challenge of improving our aluminum scrap processes and transitioning scrap companies, I must say, I thought it was going to be an uphill battle. Looking back now, I am pleasantly surprised by how smooth the transition was and how much EGA aided in Modineer’s improvements. 

One of the major improvements we have noticed is the increased revenue generated from the segregation of our aluminum. Based on your recommendations we now sort our scrap in a different manner than we have in the past. Another improvement that we implemented was the addition of the custom scrap bins, produced by EGA, for our longer material. This not only aided in the ease of loading materials but also the safety of all our employees. 

Along with the physical improvements to our facilities, Modineer has also benefited from the monthly reports you provide. These reports have allowed us to better understand the scrap market value and the fluctuation thereof.

EGA has serviced Elixir Industries since 2008. Their pickup service is outstanding and their payments are on time.

EGA is always looking for ways to help us increase the value of our scrap. They will help determine if we should separate or scrap in different ways to increase our scrap value. They are more like a partner than a vendor.

We have found EGA to be dependable, straightforward and honest.

As a manufacturer of fabricated aluminum, we also outsource work to various fab shops. Part of the services EGA has provided is spotting containers at these locations to recover scrap and avoid having to bring it back to our plant.

In addition to these services, they have also helped us with recycling plastic and cardboard and have placed compactors within our facility to help in our efforts to keep this material out of landfills.
